The Beacon Hill Junior Football Club Committee welcome in the start of the 2017-2018 season with club record numbers

Beacon Hill Junior Football Club, 8th September, 2017.

Beacon Hill Junior Football Club, an FA Charter club and a club that offers football for all, are delighted to welcome in the new 2017-2018 season. After a close season that has involved a huge amount of work and activity the club is hugely proud to recognise :-

  • The record number of boys and girls playing football in all age groups
  • Further establishment of girls only teams in multiple age groups
  • The generous support of Sport Haslemere and  The Football Foundation through the “Grow the Game” grant in helping to fund roll-on goals at the Beacon Hill Playing Fields and the expansion of the girls squads
  • The fantastic support support of all our existing and new sponsors across all age groups
  • The club wide implementation of Teamstuff to help aid communication and organisation of teams across the whole club

Speaking on the eve of the first of the season’s Thursday night training session, acting chairman Neill Mcwilliams said “It’s incredible to see so many kids being given the chance to play football. The club has grown tremendously and is going from strength to strength and this season is operating at record numbers. We thoroughly look forward to seeing the kids develop their football skills and I can’t wait to see what the coming season brings.”
